The ceremony is to help kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month.<\/p>\n<p>Pink luminaries for the ceremony can be purchased for $5, and can be in \u201cmemory of\u201d or in \u201chonor of\u201d a loved one. All proceeds from pink luminaries will be donated to breast cancer research.<\/p>\n<p>Purple luminaries are also on sale for $5, for those who have battled other types of cancer.
