Class reservations are not final until the fee has been paid.<\/p>\n<h2>Basic Digital Photography<\/h2>\n<p>Instructor Steven Ochs will teach you to understand your camera beyond \u201cAUTO\u201d and help you take control of shutter speeds, ISO, exposures, lighting, lenses, and depth of field. The class will also include basic photo-editing and instruction in Photoshop. Students need a digital camera (DSLR or fixed lenses), tri-pod, and a jump drive. Class limited to 15.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dates: July 8 \u2013 August 6<\/li>\n<li>Days: Tuesday and Wednesday<\/li>\n<li>Time: 10:45 \u2013 11:45 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Location: Brinson 101<\/li>\n<li>Fee:\u00a0 $150<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Scuba Diving for Beginners<\/h2>\n<p>Obtain the knowledge and skills required to become a P.A.D.I. certified instructor. The Professional Association of Diving Instructors is the largest and most recognized training program in the world. The course consists of classroom, pool sessions, and open water checkouts at Lake DeGray. Minimum age is 10. Class is limited to 6.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dates: June 2 \u2013 July 14<\/li>\n<li>Day: Monday<\/li>\n<li>Time: 5- 7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Locations: SAU Pool<\/li>\n<li>Instructor: Clay Raborn<\/li>\n<li>Fee: $300 (covers equipment)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Scuba Diving Refresher Course<\/h2>\n<p>Divers can refresh their skills to build confidence and proficiency under the supervision of P.A.D.I. professionals.\u00a0 Class size is limited.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dates: June 2 \u2013 July 14<\/li>\n<li>Day: Monday<\/li>\n<li>Time: 5 \u2013 7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Location: SAU Pool<\/li>\n<li>Instructor: Clay Raborn<\/li>\n<li>Fee: $150 (includes equipment rental)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Aquacize<\/h2>\n<p>This class includes a wide variety of water exercises that provide for cardiovascular toning, conditioning, and strengthening. Floatation devices will be provided for deep water exercises.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dates: June 3 \u2013 August 7<\/li>\n<li>Days: Tuesday and Thursday<\/li>\n<li>Time: 6 \u2013 7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Location: SAU Pool<\/li>\n<li>Instructor: Sandi Alston<\/li>\n<li>Fee: $40<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Aqua Zumba<\/h2>\n<p>Known as the Zumba \u201cpool party,\u201d the Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of a challenging workout; twisting, even shouting, and laughing are often heard during class. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness discipline, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging water-based workout that\u2019s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most all, exhilarating!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dates: May 28 \u2013 June 25<\/li>\n<li>Day:\u00a0 Wednesday<\/li>\n<li>Time: 5:15 \u2013 6 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Location: SAU Pool<\/li>\n<li>Instructor: Elizabeth Ray<\/li>\n<li>Fee: $50<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Children:<\/h2>\n<h3>Swan Lake Ballet Camp<\/h3>\n<p>This camp is a unique opportunity for your child to focus on ballet technique while being exposed to the music and choreography of one of the world\u2019s most famous classic ballets, <em>Swan Lake<\/em>. Students will gain an appreciation for the music of Tchaikovsky while learning to move gracefully. <strong>Ages 3 \u2013 10. <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dates: June 9 &#8211; 11<\/li>\n<li>Day: Monday \u2013 Wednesday<\/li>\n<li>Time: 5:30 \u2013 7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Location: HKR Studio<\/li>\n<li>Instructor: Lauren Murphy<\/li>\n<li>Fee: $60<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Children\u2019s Art Workshop<\/h3>\n<p>Children will be involved in a hands-on art experience involving painting, drawing, and 3-D art using various media. All materials are supplied. The workshop will end with an \u201cArtists\u2019 Reception.\u201d <strong>Class size is limited to 15 in each group. This is a comprehensive course that places a child according to the his or her ability and strives to advance the child as far as possible. How can we encourage young girls and women to embrace a more positive image of themselves, both inside and out? This workshop will offer fun, educational, and interactive sessions for young girls. <strong>Ages 8-12<\/strong>. This course will cover a range of topics that will help you prepare you to enter a pageant. Some of the topics that will be discussed: stage presence, wardrobe selection, hair and make-up styling, completing paperwork, and choosing photographs for the photogenic section. We will also practice stage introductions and pageant walks.
