\"Ramona<\/a>Ramona Wood, center, is the November featured artist of theDepartment of Art and Design at Southern Arkansas University.<\/p>\n

Wood\u2019s exhibition shows the process that she took from the preliminary sketches to the cut paper and fabric illustrations in her book \u201cNow Catlin Can:A donated organ helps a child get well.\u201d<\/p>\n

The book is based on a true story of a child whose life was transformed after receiving a kidney from a teen in 2002<\/p>\n

Wood received recognition from the National Museum of Women in the Arts for her 2001 book, \u201cThe Goat Woman of Smackover: An Arkansas Legend.\u201d<\/p>\n
