MAGNOLIA, Ark. \u2013 Southern Arkansas University\u2019s men\u2019s and women\u2019s basketball games with Arkansas Tech University scheduled for Saturday in Magnolia will be broadcast nationally via broadband video streaming through a partnership by the NCAA and Collegiate Sports Television (CSTV). The game will be available at www.NCAAsports.com\/DII. The women\u2019s game will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. CST, while the men\u2019s approximate start time is set for 7:30 p.m. CST.<\/p>\n
The SAU-ATU games were one of two Gulf South Conference contests to be selected as part of the broadband package, the other being on January 27 when the North Alabama-Alabama-Huntsville men\u2019s game was broadcast.<\/p>\n
The NCAA Division II and CSTV entered into a three-year regular season television\/broadband partnership this year that will showcase select Division II basketball games live. The partnership is the first of its kind for Division II and provides an amplified platform to highlight the Division\u2019s contests and student-athlete accomplishments, while promoting the intercollegiate athletics philosophy for Division II member institutions.<\/p>\n
The Southern Arkansas-Arkansas Tech games can be found at www.NCAAsports.com\/DII. In addition to the live games, the website will feature stories, scores, blogs, and video and audio that is dedicated to Division II sports, making it both a destination site for the live games and a place to obtain information on Division II sports.<\/p>\n
