Southern Arkansas University students, faculty, staff, and the community are invited to the first Campus Action Day hosted by Dr. Chrisanne Christensen\u2019s social psychology class from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 15, 2013, at the SAU Reynolds Center plaza area.<\/p>\n
This student-designed class capstone will highlight \u201cONE,\u201d an organization founded by rock star Bono of U2. The ONE organization is working to end extreme poverty in the world by 2030. Visitors will be able to find out what they can do that will directly impact the lives of others without making a financial contribution.<\/p>\n
The event will incorporate multi-media presentations, activism opportunities, video interviews about the U.S.\u2019s financial responsibility in solving problems, and merchandise giveaways from ONE.ORG. The students involved in the event are only requesting your voice, your signature and your smiles.<\/p>\n
