Dr. Yonghu Dai, assistant professor of Spanish at Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, published a bilingual anthology (Spanish and Chinese) of the Nicaraguan poet Ruben Dario.<\/p>\n

Dai started his research and translation on Dario when he was a graduate student at Peking University in China. He wrote a thesis on the Nicaraguan poet for his master\u2019s degree. Some of his translations of Dario\u2019s poems appeared in an anthology in China in 1997.<\/p>\n

After Dai joined the faculty of the Department of English and Foreign Languages in 2001, he continued his research on Dario. In December 2001, Dai presented a paper on Dario at the Modern Language Associations annual convention in New Orleans, La.<\/p>\n

An expanded version of the paper \u201cLa presencia china en las obras de Ruben Dario\u201d (The Chinese presence in Ruben Dario\u2019s works) was published in \u201cDario: Miradas criticas sobre Ruben Dario.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the summer of 2003, Dai received a research grant from the Research Committee at SAU. As a result he published this bilingual anthology.<\/p>\n

\u201cRuben Dario, Antologia poetica bilingue\u201d is published by Editorial urbis and Fundacion International Ruben Dario.<\/p>\n
