{"id":1915,"date":"2011-10-28T15:55:10","date_gmt":"2011-10-28T20:55:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/?p=1915"},"modified":"2011-11-01T10:01:50","modified_gmt":"2011-11-01T15:01:50","slug":"veterans-day-tribute-planned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/news\/2011\/veterans-day-tribute-planned\/","title":{"rendered":"Veterans Day tribute planned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MAGNOLIA<\/strong> <strong>\u2013<\/strong> The Veterans Resource Center at Southern Arkansas University will host a Veterans Day tribute ceremony at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, in front of Harton Theatre on the SAU campus.<\/p>\n<p>Veterans from SAU and the community as well as student service members will be recognized. There will be a moment of silence followed by the playing of \u201cTaps\u201d by a member of the SAU band. The ceremony is open to the public, and all veterans are invited to participate.<\/p>\n<p>Also on Nov. 11, the Veterans Resource Center will host information tables from branches of the armed forces, area veterans\u2019 organizations, and SAU veterans support services. The information tables will be set up in the Donald W.
