Her father, Wayne, is in the Air Force.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI liked the traveling when I was younger,\u201d she said. \u201cI didn\u2019t like it as much as I got older. I didn\u2019t want to leave the friends I had made.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her shyness followed her all the way to college.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was voted shyest member of Mule.org my freshman year,\u201d Ashley said.<\/p>\n<p>Since that time, Ashley has become more outgoing and involved in activities on the University campus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is not hard to get involved,\u201d explained Ashley. \u201cAs a member of Mule.org, all of the students live together, take classes together, and travel together. We have built really close relationships very quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the future, she hopes to have a great relationship with the students she teaches.
