Southern Arkansas University conferred degrees on 175 graduates during its fall commencement exercises on Friday, Dec. 11, 2009. Of those graduates, 27 received honors.<\/p>\n
Students attaining a grade point average of 3.50-3.74 graduated cum laude, students who earned a GPA of 3.75-3.89 graduated magna cum laude, and students who earned a GPA of 3.90-4.00 graduated summa cum laude, the highest honor bestowed. The following students earned degrees:<\/p>\n
