The College of Business at Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, named Casey Plumley as its Outstanding Student for the 2004-05 academic year.<\/p>\n
Plumley earned her B.B.A. in accounting and finance with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.<\/p>\n
During her time at SAU, Plumley has received membership in the Alpha Chi Honor Society and the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society and has made both the Dean\u2019s and National Dean\u2019s Lists. She has been selected to Who\u2019s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and is a recipient of the Puterbaugh Scholarship. She was recently named the 2005 Accounting Student of the Year.<\/p>\n
In addition to her outstanding scholarship, Plumley has been an active member of a number of student organizations. She has served as team captain for Students in Free Enterprise and was a recipient of the SIFE Service Leadership Award. She has served on the Business Student Advisory Council and as vice president of community service for Phi Beta Lambda.<\/p>\n
Plumley is also the recipient of the President\u2019s Volunteer Service Award from the President\u2019s Council on Service and Civic Participation, and, in her spare time, she has been an intern for the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling and worked in corporate accounting.<\/p>\n
She is a 1997 graduate of El Dorado High School.<\/p>\n
