He spends the majority of his time in Magnolia, as a student at Southern Arkansas University, enjoying the finer things in life offered by residing in a smaller town; but he is close enough to his hometown to make periodical visits and get his fix for the big city.<\/p>\n<p>To those who might be reluctant to live in a smaller town, Jonathon has some words of advice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA small town isn\u2019t as bad as you might think,\u201d he said. \u201cYou will still have the same opportunities to make friends that you would in a big city.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jonathon, a computer information systems major from Bryant, seems to have settled into small town life at SAU just fine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like the professors in the College of Business,\u201d said Jonathon, a 2003 graduate of Bryant High School and son of Carolyn and David Bradford. \u201cThey always take time to meet with me and help me with problems I might have.<\/p>\n<p>After graduation, Jonathon hopes to be married and enrolled in graduate school at SAU. When he earns his master\u2019s degree, he knows what he wants to do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would love to lead the technology division of a major corporation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Jonathon became interested in computers at a young age.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I was young, we got our first computer and I started playing games,\u201d he said. \u201cAs a teenager I got my own computer and had an opportunity to play around with it more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In high school, Jonathon was involved with the technology department.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was kind of fun, and I had a lot of responsibility,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Although Jonathon is from a big city, it may be that life in Magnolia has shown him that there are just as many opportunities in smaller towns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jonathon Bradford has the best of both worlds.
