\"\"The Upward Bound program at Southern Arkansas University will present a drama production, \u201cMack to the Past,\u201d on Thursday, July 11, at 6:30 p.m., at Harton Theater on the SAU campus. This production not only showcases the artistic talents of Upward Bound participants but also underscores the program’s commitment to nurturing creativity and academic achievement.<\/p>\n

Mack, a teen from Elizabethan\/Shakespearean England, is transported forward in time by none other than the mischievous Puck from Shakespeare\u2019s A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream<\/span><\/em> to a 21st-century middle school. He must get help from the students to travel back to the past, where and when he belongs. This short comedy includes Shakespearean quotes and language and many allusions to the 1980s movie <\/span>Back to the Future<\/span><\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>This family-oriented comedy is designed to keep you laughing throughout the entire play.\u00a0 Admission is free, and the public is cordially invited to attend this event. Immediately following the production, there will be an awards ceremony.<\/p>\n
