2. Click on “Library Catalog” located in the upper-right area of the page<\/p>\n

3. Type Author, Title, or Term into the corresponding box<\/p>\n

4. if a specific format is desired, select the corresponding type.<\/p>\n

5. Select “Search.”<\/p>\n

7. Begin by noting the location. In this example, the location is the \u201cMagale Library in Main Collection,\u201d which is located on the 3rd<\/sup> floor of the library.<\/p>\n

8. Next, note the call number. In this example, the call number is: \u201cSF 426.2 .K47 2007\u201d which is usually found on the spine of the book in this format:<\/p>\n

9. Find \u201cSF\u201d located in the \u201cS\u201d section of the library\u2019s \u201cMain Collection\u201d by using the call number signs located on the end of each bookshelf or book bay.<\/p>\n

10.Once in the \u201cSF\u201d section, look for the next part of the call number (426.2) and so forth until you find the complete call number located on the item.<\/p>\n

11. Finally, the title should correspond with the call number. In this example, the title is, \u201cMerle\u2019s door: lessons from a freethinking dog\u201d should be found on the cover and spine of the book.<\/p>\n
