!Spanish Fiesta!<\/td>\nLearn the Spanish language in an immersive and fun environment. Students will engage in arts and crafts and hands-on projects while learning Spanish and about culture related to Spanish-Speaking countries.\u00a0 They will be given the opportunity to use and practice the language they are learning in an authentic and meaningful way.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Ag and You<\/td>\nAll hands on deck with this experimental agriculture class! We will learn about the different layers in the soil, why pinecones open, water movement through plants & planting your own seeds!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Agent Undercover<\/td>\nYou have been selected for a top-secret mission. If you choose to accept this mission, you will learn the ways of a Master Spy! Agents will learn to create and decipher secret codes, the art of disguise, fingerprinting, and more!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Appetite for Learning<\/td>\nStudents will have fun baking\/cooking in the kitchen! Through hands-on activities, students will learn the importance of safety in the kitchen, practice math skills, and learn how to correctly measure using dry and liquid ingredients.\u00a0 Students will LOVE getting to enjoy their tasty treats!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Archery 101<\/td>\nThis course is designed to teach the Basic Instruction of Archery and application. There will be competitive shooting with games and prizes. If the student already owns a bow, they are encouraged to bring it to class<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Campus Campout<\/td>\nEnjoy four days of camping activities! These will include planning your trip, how to pitch a tent, cooking over a campfire, hiking\/fishing, and playing baggo.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Cooking with Science<\/td>\nIn Cooking with Science, the class will develop a basic understanding of chemistry, physics, and biology by making items such as butter, ice cream, edible DNA models, and more. Each project will allow students to dive deeper into science in a creative, tasty way.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Creative Canvases<\/td>\nIn this class, we will learn about painting on canvas. The artists will gain understanding of how to begin a painting and learn patience through mixing and blending. We will complete 2 paintings for the young artists to bring home and display for the world to see.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Doodle Bug<\/td>\nDo you love to doodle and sketch? In Doodle Bug, students will learn to draw faces, animals, and lettering! We will discuss outline techniques, shading, patterns, and letter formation. The more creative, the better!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Dr. Lindsey’s Mad Science Lab<\/td>\nDr. Lindsey’s Mad Science Lab will include lots of mad science fun!\u00a0 We will learn and explore through science experiments and dissection! Join in on the madness!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Epic Escape<\/td>\nQuick, think fast to read the clues, crack the codes, and connect the dots so that you can conquer The Epic Escape! In this class, we will flex our mighty minds by using our critical thinking and problem-solving abilities as we work together to solve tricky riddles. We will also utilize our math and literacy skills to help us along our journey. We cannot complete this quest without YOU, so join us during this Epic Escape!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Fun with Engineering<\/td>\nPut your thinking caps on!\u00a0 In this class, we will look at a problem or question and brainstorm possible solutions.\u00a0 Students will put their skills to use by building a variety of engineering structures.\u00a0 You don’t want to miss out on the fun of engineering!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Get Snappy with Electricity<\/td>\nWelcome to the world of electrical engineering! In this class, engineers can assemble over 100 different electronic circuit projects. With programmable word fan, dual LED display, switches, speakers, lights, and compasses the possibilities are endless!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Guardians of the Planet<\/td>\nDo you want to become a guardian of the planet? Students will learn how to save the planet by harnessing the wind, planting flowers, learning to make their own paper and making compost stew.\u00a0 Come learn how to be the one who speaks for the trees!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Gymnastics<\/td>\nIn this class, students will learn proper stretching and beginner gymnastics skills like handstand, cart wheel, round-off, and back bend. Come flip with us!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Healthy Habits<\/td>\nIn this class, we will learn ways to make healthy choices a part of every day! Each day we will learn how to take care of our skin and hair, our bodies, and our minds. We will learn the importance of being active and taking care of ourselves. From making facemasks and sugar scrubs to yummy snacks you can make on your own, this class will teach you to live a healthy life every day!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Hot Wheels STEM Challenge<\/td>\nRace on over to the Hot Wheels STEM challenge! Each day students will design and construct different racetracks.\u00a0 This course allows students to investigate energy, motion, speed, friction, and engineering principles, all while playing with Hot Wheels.\u00a0 Are you up for the challenge?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Intro to Pickleball<\/td>\nStudents will be taught an overview of the game of Pickleball. This sport combines skills like tennis and ping-pong. It also encourages teamwork and sportsmanship.\u00a0 In this class, we will cover rules and game play. Come have fun and learn the sport of Pickleball!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Junior Investigators<\/td>\nStudents will get hands-on experience with various methods used in Crime Scene Investigation. We will learn how to fingerprint, explore chromatography, extract DNA, and uncover a mystery substance!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Junky Jewelry<\/td>\nHave fun turning ordinary materials into junky jewelry in this fun bracelet making class. Participates will make bracelets each day from t-shirt yarn, rubber bands, magazines and colorful yarn.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Keep Calm and LEGO<\/td>\nDid someone say LEGO CHALLENGE? Challenges are back and better than ever!\u00a0 Whether you are a master of the bricks or a beginner, this class has something to offer you.\u00a0 Students will create, explore, build, and take on challenges.\u00a0 We can’t wait to meet you future engineers!\u00a0 Let the fun and friendly competition begin!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Kids Can Grill Too<\/td>\nKids Can Grill Too is a hands-on learning course where students gain experience in many different aspects of grilling. From lighting a grill utilizing a chimney to discovering the difference between direct and indirect heat, students will perform tasks in developing their own food creations. Students will be cooking hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken quesadillas, s’mores, and even grilled pizza.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Let’s Get Crafty<\/td>\nIn this interactive class, students will create fun and unique projects like tie-dye, friendship bracelets and more! Join us as we explore the latest trends in crafting!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Math that Moves<\/td>\nMath that moves is not your traditional math class! This is an interactive approach that engages the strongest learning style of each student! Need a hands on approach? We’ve got it! Need to see a demonstration? We’ve got that covered too! You do not want to miss this opportunity to grow as a mathematician!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Mini Muleriders<\/td>\nDuring this class, students will learn how to be an effective cheerleader. They will learn technique for skills like jumps and cheerleading motions. But more importantly, students will learn how to be the biggest cheerleader for the SAU Muleriders!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Mulerider Detectives<\/td>\nOur Daring Detectives will learn how to use forensic science to find evidence, uncover clues and follow their hunches during this mystery-filled week of camp. Through hands-on projects like fingerprint analysis, crime scene processing, “interrogating” the witnesses, and learning more about court procedures, your super sleuth will use their smarts to solve some silly, captivating crimes!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Muleriders Have GRIT<\/td>\nWhat is GRIT you ask?\u00a0 GRIT stands for Gumption, Resilience, Integrity, and Tenacity. This class will challenge kids to increase their GRIT through fun brain games, exciting time trials, and mysterious puzzles and riddles. All of this will be in preparation for a challenging obstacle course highlighting the end of the week!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Mulesports<\/td>\nStudents will participate in a different non-contact sport each day. Sport options will include flag football, basketball, soccer, and wiffle ball. Students will need athletic shoes\/attire and sunscreen. Equipment and water will be provided.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Snack Attack<\/td>\nIn this class, we will have fun snacks that kids can create without the use of an oven.\u00a0 Students will be introduced to books that feature the items they will be creating.\u00a0 These snacks can be as creative as your child!\u00a0 Not only will your child have fun creating these delicious snacks but they will enjoy eating them too! (snacks may include peanut products)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
So You Think You Can Dance<\/td>\nIn this high-energy class, students will experience all genres of dance.\u00a0 Each day a different style of dance will be taught.\u00a0 Come have fun and dance with us!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
STEAM Art<\/td>\nDo you love art? Do you love science? If your answers were yes, then you will love STEAM Art! It’s a little bit of science and a little bit of art combined to make a whole lot of fun! Join us as we use science to make art!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Stop Motion Animation<\/td>\nStop Motion is animation that is captured one frame at a time with physical objects that are moved between frames.\u00a0 When you play back the sequence of images rapidly, it creates the illusion of movement. In this class, students will create stop motion animations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Stop Motion software on an iPad using LEGO figures.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Theatre Kids<\/td>\nThis class is full of drama\u2026yes, you heard that right! Throughout the week, we will engage in many different theatre activities! Your student will be able to practice projecting their acting voice, mastering the art of improvisation, incorporating their five senses into acting, and will even create their own custom character to act out!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Wizards School of Magic<\/td>\nCalling all Wizards!\u00a0 If you like excitement, hands-on activities, and a little mess then this is the class for you.\u00a0 Come join us as we experience the magic behind the science in creating wands, potions and more!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
