When accessing wirelessly it is essential that transmitted data is protected by secure connections:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>MySAU Portal \u2013 when accessing information through the portal via a web browser, a SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate is used to establish an encrypted link.<\/li>\n<li>SkyLite \u2013 when accessing using this Jenzabar client software on-campus, the software session used must be configured using the Secure Shell (SSH) protocol to ensure a secure link\/tunnel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>When using SkyLite from off-campus, the user must use our VPN (virtual private network) and establish a secure connection before executing SkyLite since SSH is not allowed remotely.<\/p>\n<p>Information Technology Services is responsible for installing the SkyLite software on systems needing it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are a couple of methods that can be used to access the University ERP systems.
