Kindly review the application fee options we have below before making your decision.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Regular Application fee &#8211;<\/strong> Applicants are required to pay a <strong>$90\u00a0<\/strong>nonrefundable application fee to have their application processed and I-20 created. With this option, applicants are obligated to have their <strong>foreign transcripts\u00a0<\/strong>evaluated through a third party agency (<em>see\u00a0<strong>step 6).<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Application fee with transcripts evaluation &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Applicants can choose to pay a\u00a0<strong>$230 <\/strong>application fee instead of the regular application fee to have their <strong>official <\/strong><strong>f<\/strong><strong>oreign transcripts <\/strong>evaluated by IEE through SAU. This fee is also nonrefundable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 3 &#8211; Submit English Proficiency Scores (Mandatory)<\/h2>\n<p><em>The English requirement can be waived for students holding a Bachelor&#8217;s or\u00a0 Master&#8217;s degree from an accredited school <strong>within<\/strong> the United States.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>You must submit one of the following scores that are not more than 2 years old.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some <a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/international\/admissions\/undergraduate\/undergrad-admissions-criteria\/\">English-speaking<\/a> countries are exempted from this requirement.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum English Requirements\u00a0(must meet\u00a0one\u00a0of the following)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A score of\u00a0<b>550<\/b>\u00a0or higher on the written TOEFL<\/li>\n<li>A score of\u00a0<b>210<\/b>\u00a0or higher on the computerized TOEFL<\/li>\n<li>A score of\u00a0<b>79<\/b>\u00a0or higher on the internet-based TOEFL<\/li>\n<li>A score of Band\u00a0<b>6.0<\/b>\u00a0(overall) on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System)<\/li>\n<li>A score of\u00a0<strong>51<\/strong> or higher on PTE (Pearson Test of English)<\/li>\n<li>A score of\u00a0<strong>100<\/strong> or higher on Duolingo<\/li>\n<li>Completion of Level\u00a0<b>112<\/b>\u00a0at an ELS Language Center or its equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Completion of EF Level\u00a0<b>5<\/b><\/li>\n<li>If your English scores are below the required minimum for admissions, you may consider:\n<ul>\n<li>Retaking your English proficiency exam<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have completed your undergraduate or another masters degree in the US then this requirement is waived.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 4 &#8211; Provide Proof of Financial Support<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Fill out and email the SAU\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/international\/files\/2013\/09\/Affidavit-of-Support-2013.pdf\">Affidavit of Support<\/a> [pdf] form showing at least $17,375.<\/li>\n<li>Upload\u00a0your supporting documentation, such as a bank statement or a bank letter stating you have the required funds to support your <a href=\"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/international\/tuition-scholarships\/cost\/\">educational expenses<\/a>. (These need to be within a few months.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 5 &#8211; Submit Copies of Immigration Documents<\/h2>\n<p>Upload a copy of your immigration documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passport<\/li>\n<li>I-20 from current school (if you have one)<\/li>\n<li>U.S. Visa (if you have one)<\/li>\n<li>I-94 (if you have one)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Step 6 &#8211;\u00a0 Evaluate Undergraduate Transcript (Mandatory)<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Regular Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Courses completed at foreign (non-US) colleges or universities will be considered for graduate admission if the student has a transcript evaluation done by one of the following companies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edperspective.org\/index.php\">Educational Perspective<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/myiee.org\/university\/Southern-Arkansas-University\">IEE<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wes.org\">WES<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/spanside.secure.force.com\/SpantranApplication?Id=e780a3e3-b361-48f8-bcbc-30447eae0c02\">Spantran<\/a><\/li>\n<li>or <a title=\"private credential evaluation agencies\" href=\"https:\/\/www.naces.org\/members\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">other private credential evaluation agencies<\/a> approved by the Arkansas Department of Education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To be considered for admissions, your evaluation will need to show it is equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor&#8217;s degree.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>The evaluation needs to include a \u201ccourse by course\u201d analysis with GPA.<\/h3>\n<p>US Transcripts and foreign (non-US) Transcript Evaluations are to be sent to the university officially at the address below. Please contact the program director for more information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Some colleges\/programs may not allow conditional status. Students on conditional status are limited to six hours per semester.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The conditional status will be removed after the student earns a minimum of 12 semester hours of graduate credit at Southern Arkansas University with a 3.0 GPA, no grade lower than a C, and not more than one course with a grade of C.
