{"id":2061,"date":"2014-05-06T12:01:32","date_gmt":"2014-05-06T17:01:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/human-resources\/?p=2061"},"modified":"2025-02-20T10:12:53","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T16:12:53","slug":"institutional-bus-driver-part-time-on-an-as-needed-basis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/human-resources\/2014\/05\/06\/institutional-bus-driver-part-time-on-an-as-needed-basis\/","title":{"rendered":"Institutional Bus Driver (Part-Time) on an as needed basis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Duties: operate a 30 passenger bus to the University; read maps, plan travel routes and schedules; make routine checks and inspections of bus and equipment for proper operation, safety, and maintenance; coordinate any special requirements or considerations necessary for making trips with appropriate personnel; maintain schedules for the operation of bus and regular maintenance requirements; maintain records of bus use, travel logs and prepare reports of operations; provide security for the bus on overnight trips and attend driving courses as needed and\/or required and other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications: drivers must have a current CDL with endorsements necessary to drive a 30 passenger bus; a physical within the past 12 months and a 5 year driving history is required. Drivers will be required to fill out and submit standard DOT application requirements and drug testing.\u00a0 SAU has a broad range of driving requirements to include local less than one day events to multi-day out of state events.
