Southern Arkansas University invites applications for a tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics, with a strong background in Statistics, within the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
Duties: Teaching undergraduate Mathematics and Statistics courses; scholarly activities; curriculum development; student advising; recruitment and retention activities; departmental services, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in mathematics/applied mathematics/statistics/Data Science; ABD may be considered; ability to teach undergraduate and graduate students; excellent communication skills; ability to work well with the others; strong interest in student activities; commitment to professional development.
