Duties: facilitate in-person training of DCFS staff in local county offices in the southwest/central region of Arkansas using the Safety-Organized Practice model; consult with statewide SOP team, DCFS supervisors and directors for area and county training activities; reach out to respective Area Directors or other area designees to determine best dates for scheduling for that area; set up Zoom links and/or secure physical location, as applicable, for each scheduled SOP Deep Dive prior to training months; collaborate with DCFS Champion to ensure all necessary equipment and copies are provided for each Deep Dive; co-facilitate each SOP Deep Dive to include presentation of material during plenary sessions and assist with break-out sessions; review participant feedback surveys and make adjustments as needed to ensure continuous quality improvement; participate in on-going educational events and planning meetings with the SOP Program Manager and TDM Facilitators; incorporate SOP values, tools, and strategies into field training sessions with FSWs who are participating in field training during their first year of employment and other duties as assigned. This position will include some out-of-region travel training assignments to supplement statewide coverage with the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, the statewide AAPPCW office.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or related field required; two years work experience with the Arkansas Division of Children & Family Services or equivalent out-of-state child welfare agency preferred; excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
