This is a grant funded position which ends January 2023.
Duties: Obtain and provide training for evidence-based suicide prevention programs; develop a suicide prevention education plan; increase awareness of suicide prevention strategies, risks, protective factors and resources available; enhance public awareness activities by utilizing social media, websites, brochures and other informational outlets; promote the mission and follow policies of the University; keep records and generate reports regarding the progress of the program; establish and maintain a system for contacting clients, complete follow-ups, and connecting clients to referral sources and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required in social work, psychology or other related field; master’s preferred; two years’ experience preferred working in a human service related field; some clerical duties needed.
