Duties: Collaborate with University faculty, staff, and administrators to coordinate the Early Intervention Program on the SAU campus; assist with the design, development, and implementation of methods for improving existing programs/support services to increase the number of students that return to SAU and complete their degree; identify area of needed change that would increase student retention; provide students with the guidance and tools to manage their educational path; facilitate program that involves having upper-class students mentor and tutor individual freshmen; assist with schedules as needed; perform needs-assessment, planning, data collection and analysis; meet with students in need and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Higher Education/Student Affairs, Academic Advising, Education or related field required; demonstrated understanding of and commitment to academic and career advising; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of or ability to learn and use web-based information sources; ability to manage and successfully prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
