Southern Arkansas University invites applications from outstanding applicants for a Tenure Track Assistant or Associate Professor of Computer Science in all areas of Computer Science. The computer science program (https://web.saumag.edu/science/cs/) offers BS and MS degrees with emphasis on Cyber security, Data Science, and Gaming and Animation. Candidates in all areas of computer science will be considered. Successful candidate will be expected to teach core computer science courses. Duties: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate level computer science courses; service activities including recruitment, retention, advising, and various other duties; pursuing scholarly activities including supervising graduate and undergraduate research, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in computer science or related area; ABD may be considered. Candidates with Master degree in Computer Science or related with teaching experience would be considered; ability to teach undergraduate and graduate students is a plus; excellent communication skills; ability to work well with the others; strong desire to getting involved in student activities; commitment to professional development.
