Southern Arkansas University is seeking applications for a twelve-month position of nurse practitioner of the University Health Services beginning November 2021.
Duties: provide nursing care for students and employees; obtain medical histories; perform routine physical examinations; maintain health information forms; check for proper immunizations; order supplies; respond to campus medical emergencies; provide in-service training and programs such as preventive medicine, CPR and first-aid courses; develop wellness programs for faculty, staff, and students; serve on university committees, if appointed; market the health services to inform the campus community of available services; present educational programs on campus and at freshman orientation and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: possess an Arkansas Advanced Practice Nurse license; prescriptive authority and NPI number required; Medicaid number preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.
