Southern Arkansas University invites applications for a tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
Duties: Teaching math educators; undergraduate Mathematics (calculus and up); scholarly activities; curriculum development, student advising, recruitment and retention activities; departmental services; undergraduate research, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in mathematics/math education/applied mathematics/statistics; ABD may be considered; ability to teach undergraduate and graduate students Math with demonstrated commitment to teaching math educators; excellent communication skills; ability to work well with the others; strong desire to get involved in student activities; commitment to professional development.
