Duties: Manage the technology operation in the Registrar’s Office and provide assistance pertaining to the facilitation of technology and processes for users within and outside the department in POISE, CampusConnect, dDocs, and other applications related to departmental functions; participate in the design and implementation of innovative technical solutions to further the service mission of the department; maintain and verify student, course, and program data within the POISE Registration module and scanned documents systems; monitor and help maintain digital transcript receiving processes and enter transfer credit for new and returning students; create ADHE census reporting files each semester and work with Information Technology Services to ensure data meets external reporting specifications; submit graduated student data to the National Student Clearinghouse each term and fulfill additional data requests as needed; assist in the digitization of physical academic records and documentation; maintain the departmental website and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, related field or equivalent workforce experience required; Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred; knowledge and experience in working with POISE Registration Module and other databases used in the Office of the Registrar; POISE DMS functions (sort, print, ASQ, exchange, etc.); knowledge of Word Press; FTP files; proficient in MS Word, Excel and Access; strong technical skills with programming experience preferred; three years office experience; one year in student records management, student registration, or related area; excellent written and verbal skills; specific knowledge of student records and ability to compile information into report form; ability to keep accurate records and interpret institutional policy.
