Duties: Review, correct, and input data for electronic storage; retrieve electronic stored information and compile data for reports including leave and timesheet records; submit reports to supervisor; review or prepare documents including applications, forms, vouchers, records, and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with laws and regulations; make necessary corrections; maintain both hard copy and electronic files including archiving and scanning; serve as front line person to respond to HR support requests providing service or referring to appropriate HR staff; receive, sort, and distribute correspondence, records, and information as requested; conduct data entry into complex databases and systems and develop queries to gather information and reports; requires attention to detail and accuracy in job performance; respond to correspondence as directed and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma plus three years of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed; understanding of the need to work with accuracy; knowledge of record keeping procedures; principles and practices of bookkeeping for leave and timesheets; knowledge of Human Resources; Microsoft Office Applications; ability to establish and maintain filing systems; operate standard office equipment; analyze documents to determine compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures and communicate both orally and in writing.
