Duties: Verify accreditation of schools and universities; enter transfer credit and credit by exam on academic records; certify veterans records for eligibility; audit degree plans; notify advisors and students of deficiencies; verify academic standing and honors eligibility; process academic transcript requests; review and process changes such as reinstatements, drops, withdrawals, schedule changes, and grade changes; assist with end-of-term processes and graduation ceremonies; provide students, faculty and staff accurate information to resolve issues/problems and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and two years of experience in higher education required; master’s degree preferred; knowledge of computers and software application programs, database management, and registration processes; ability to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, resources, and materials associated with the needs of the department; ability to counsel students; communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; work independently and as a team member; learn and adhere to University policies and procedures; comply with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
