The David F. Rankin College of Business at Southern Arkansas University invites applications for a tenure-track position for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting to begin August 2020.
Duties: teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses; produce scholarly research leading to publications in refereed journals; advise students; engage in professional activities; serve on committees at the college and university level; display excellence in teaching, intellectual contributions, advising and service to the college, university and community and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: earned doctorate in accounting required; ABD considered; earned doctorate in a related business discipline with graduate hours in accounting combined with professional experience in the Accounting field (CPA preferred) will be considered; demonstration of relevant teaching experience at the university level and/or the ability to make scholarly contributions through refereed journal publications and other intellectual contributions; demonstration of excellence in oral and written communication skills.
