Duties: Serve as part of the international office team; assist with immigration regulations, policies, and practices for F-1 students, faculty, and staff as needed; responsible for maintaining effective working relationships with international students; process SEVIS and Terra Dotta related student requests/maintenance and SEVIS registration; plan and host retention activities throughout the school year; help coordinate events such as orientation week activities for new incoming students as well as facilitating retreats; requires working several evenings, weekends, and regular student break periods and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred; proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; strong communication skills and experience working in a diverse environment; must have a willingness to work in a multicultural office environment and with a culturally diverse student population; ability to reason logically and use initiative in planning work assignments and in implementing long-range program improvements; ability to plan, develop, coordinate, supervise, and organize programs and activities; strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills; excellent customer service skills; comfortable speaking to groups; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team; ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing demands and priorities.
