The Department of Biology at Southern Arkansas University invites applicants for a non-tenure track position of Instructor of Biology. This position begins August 2020.
Duties: Teach 15 hours of introductory undergraduate laboratory courses; design and implement new lab activities for our one-semester survey of biology for non-majors; courses will include 6-10 sections of Introduction to Biology labs for non-majors, and other introductory biology classes as needed; demonstrate the ability to engage students from across all majors and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: At least a Master’s degree in any area of Biology; previous teaching experience preferred; excellent written and oral communication skills.
