Duties: office receptionist; answer telephone; greet and assist visitors; organize reports; assist and provide information to students; correspondence and meetings/seminars for department chair and faculty; departmental records and files; supervise student workers; general administrative support for the department and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent with one year of specialized training in typing, computers, and business practices required; college degree or 3-5 years secretarial experience is preferred; proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to maintain confidentiality; interact professionally with staff and public; professional appearance desired.
