Southern Arkansas University’s College of Science and Engineering is accepting applications for tenure-track position for Assistant Professor of Agriculture with emphasis in Poultry Science. The rapidly growing Agriculture department is located in a modern and well-equipped 33,000 square foot Agriculture Science building.
Duties: Teach upper and lower division Poultry Science courses and associated laboratories; supervise the newly constructed Poultry Education Facility; supervise undergraduate research projects; serve on committees; perform scholarly activity; engage in recruitment, retention, advise students and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Poultry Science is preferred by time of employment; ABD candidates will be accepted; ability to teach undergraduate students; excellent communication skills; ability to work well with people; have a strong desire to interact with students both in the classroom and undergraduate research projects.
