The David F. Rankin College of Business at Southern Arkansas University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Information Systems position beginning August 2019. Review of applications will begin December 1, 2018 and continue until position is filled.
Duties: Teach undergraduate and graduate information systems courses such as programming, database management, systems analysis and design, data analytics, networking and web programming; produce scholarly research leading to publications in refereed journals; advise students and engage in professional activities; serve on various committees at the college and university level; display excellence in teaching, intellectual contributions, advising, and service to the college, university, community and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess an appropriate doctorate or ABD in Information Systems or a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited university. Preferred consideration will be given to applicants with professional experience in the Information Systems field with relevant teaching experience at the university level and the ability to make scholarly contributions through refereed journal publications and other intellectual activities. Knowledge of SAP and/or supply chain management is highly desired.
