Duties: Office receptionist, answer telephone, greet and assist visitors; organize reports; assist and provide information to students, facilitate correspondence and meetings/seminars for department chair and faculty; maintain departmental records and student files; supervise student workers; perform data entry; assist with exam related operations; facilitate departmental events; provide general administrative support for the department and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with one year specialized training in keyboarding/computer applications/business correspondence required; college degree with 3 – 5 years administrative experience preferred; proficient use of Microsoft Office required; ability to maintain confidentiality, interact professionally with staff and public; exhibit professional appearance.
