Duties: office receptionist, answer telephone, greet and assist students, faculty, staff and visitors; prepare and type documents; handle reports and correspondence; schedule appointments; assist Director with special programs, events, and research; update office website; supervise student workers; procure office supplies and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: high school diploma required; associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred plus 2-3 years secretarial experience; have knowledge, experience and capability of using software (especially Microsoft Office) and computer hardware; excellent typing, word processing, filing and organizational skills; strong interpersonal communication skills; maintain high performance standards in a busy/heavy workload environment; able to adhere to the confidentiality of the office environment; some evening and weekend hours required.
