The David F. Rankin College of Business at Southern Arkansas University invites applications for a tenure-track position for Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting.
Duties: teach graduate and undergraduate accounting courses; produce scholarly research leading to publications in refereed journals; advise students; engage in professional activities; serve on committees at the college and university level; display excellence in teaching, intellectual contributions, advising and service to the college, university and community; and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: earned doctorate in accounting from an AACSB-accredited university preferred (candidates with an earned doctorate in a related business discipline with graduate hours in accounting from an AACSB-accredited university combined with professional experience in the Accounting field—CPA preferred—will be considered, along with ABDs from an AACSB-accredited university); ability to make scholarly contributions through refereed journal publications and other intellectual activities (candidates for associate professor should have an established record of refereed publications); excellent oral and written communication skills.
