    1. If you have\u00a0not<\/u><\/b>\u00a0received a 30 or above on the ACT , the Presidential Distinguished scholarship, or Hallman scholarship, please complete\u00a0the following:\n
        \n
      1. Submit two essays:\n
          \n
        1. One from a high school class<\/li>\n
        2. One from either of these two prompts:\n
            \n
          1. What two classes should every college student take? Why? <\/em>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n
          2. Describe a current problem or social issue that you consider important. Explain why.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          3. Submit two letters of recommendation.<\/li>\n
          4. Essays and letters of recommendation can be emailed to the Honors College director Dr. Ed Kardas (epkardas@saumag.edu) or submitted along with your electronic application (link above).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          5. After ALL of the materials above have been received the Honors College will evaluate your application and provide you with a prompt decision.<\/li>\n
          6. Sign up for BAM (Be a Mulerider):\u00a0https:\/\/web.saumag.edu\/orientation<\/a><\/li>\n
          7. Come to BAM on your date<\/li>\n
          8. Move-in!<\/li>\n
          9. See you in Honors Seminar!<\/li>\n
          10. Graduate<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
