All students, faculty, and staff must bring their IDs to be seen. The only exception is if there is an emergency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"listed-post\"><strong>Do I need to make an appointment to be seen at University Health Services?<\/strong>\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt\">\n<p>We prefer students\/faculty or staff members to make an appointment by calling our office at (870) 235- 5237 or emailing at\u00a0<a title=\"null\" href=\"mailto:uhs@saumag.edu\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">uhs@saumag.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"listed-post\"><strong>Will University Health Services bill my insurance?<\/strong>\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt\">\n<p>Students insurance will be billed, however students will not ever be charged and will never be responsible for any charges at University Health Services other than small testing or supply fees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"listed-post\"><strong>Does the health clinic take debit\/credit cards?<\/strong>\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt\">\n<p>Yes. We accept debit\/credit cards, cash, and check for payment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"listed-post\"><strong>I am pregnant\/breastfeeding, can I be treated at clinic?<\/strong>\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt\">\n<p>No. Any woman who is pregnant or breastfeeding will need to see her primary care provider.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"listed-post\"><strong>If I miss class to come to the clinic, will you write me a note?<\/strong>\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt\">\n<p>The UHS does not issue notes to students for missing class to come to the clinic unless they are running a fever, have a documented episode of vomiting or diarrhea while at the clinic, or have had an accident requiring immediate treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The clinic nurse reserves the right to issue a note at her discretion.<\/p>\n<p>Students are advised to contact the appropriate professor, instructor, coach, or supervisors if they need to miss class or practice due to an illness or injury.<\/p>\n<p>Students are encouraged to make mature decisions when they are too ill to attend class or practice. All decisions concerning the impact of an absence, as well as any arrangements for making up work, rest with the professors, instructors, or coaches.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"listed-post\"><strong>If I received my vaccinations at the clinic, how do I gain access to my records?<\/strong>\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"pcs-excerpt\">\n<p>If you come to the clinic in person you may request and be provided with a copy.
