The founders were three Howard University undergraduates, &#8212;\u00a0Edgar Amos Love, Oscar James Cooper\u00a0and\u00a0Frank Coleman. Joining them was their faculty adviser,\u00a0Dr. Ernest Everett Just. Today,\u00a0Omega Psi Phi\u00a0now has over 700 chapters throughout the United States, Bermuda, Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Korea, Japan, Liberia, Germany, and Kuwait.\u00a0There are many notable Omega Men recognized as leaders in the arts, the sciences, academics, athletics, business, civil rights, education, government, and science sectors at the local, national and international level.\u00a0Omega continues to flourish, largely because founders &#8212;\u00a0Love,\u00a0Cooper,\u00a0Coleman\u00a0and\u00a0Just\u00a0&#8212; were men of the very highest ideals and intellect.<br \/>\nThe Founders selected and attracted men of similar ideals and characteristics.
