\nSouthern Arkansas University created an application <\/a> for funds. Funds were made available to undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students who were half time or above in spring 2020 semester and who are eligible to apply for Title IV funds. The University excluded students who are enrolled in a distance learning program course of study per guidance from the Department of Education. All students must certify they incurred expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the coronavirus. These include: food, housing, course materials, technology, health care or childcare costs.<\/p>\n

Funds were made available to undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students who were half time or above in spring 2021 semester and who are eligible to apply for Title IV funds. The University prioritized students with financial need and assigned grant amounts to all others based on the projected costs of disruption for undergraduate and graduate students. Award amounts were added to the students’ financial aid package and ranged from $300 to $700. Once the grant funds were accepted, the student could elect to apply the grant to balances owed or to receive a check directly.
