Senators in attendance were Cynthia Blake, Ceil Bridges, Gaye Calhoun, Kendra Copeland, LaTricia Davis, Brenda Garrett, Charles Honza, Essie Moore, Eric Plummer, Shawana Reed, Becki Talley, Houston Taylor, and Donald Wray. Approval of Minutes<\/strong> Old Business<\/strong><\/p>\n Staff Senate Elections Committee Reports<\/strong> New Business<\/strong><\/p>\n Seating of New Members and Officers There was a discussion about what to do if the Vice President\/President elect\u2019s term ends and that person is not re-elected to serve on the staff senate for the next term. There were options discussed, but no decision was made. \nThe meeting was called to order by Eric Plummer. Donald Wray made a motion to accept the minutes with a second by LaTricia Davis. <\/p>\n
\nHouston Taylor noted that the staff senate elections should be completed by the June staff senate meeting.<\/p>\n
\nThere were no committee reports<\/p>\n
\nDue to the elections of new members being delayed until June, the seating of the new members and officers will be tabled until the June meeting.<\/p>\n
\nThe motion to adjourn was made by Gaye Calhoun and seconded by LaTricia Davis. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
