The Master of Education degree in the Educational Leadership in Administration and Supervision is a thirty (30) hour online program that meets the Arkansas requirements for licensure as a building-level administrator. It is incumbent upon students seeking licensure in other states to verify the licensure requirements in their state. Candidates must complete courses in the professional core and educational administration and supervision. The program consists of the following courses:

The mission of programs in EDAS are to prepare candidates for leadership positions at the local school, district, regional, state and national levels.
The program offers a master’s degree program in Educational Leadership in Administration and Supervision leading to licensure as a principal. Licensure programs are also offered for students holding a master’s degree who seek licensure as a principal curriculum program administrator, or superintendent. The curriculum places a strong emphasis of field practicum experiences, clinical experiences and internships. One (1) year of teaching experience is required. Students must conference with the program advisor prior to admission and meet program admission requirements. View a list of courses.
Licensure Program Admissions
Applicants who currently hold a graduate degree and seek licensure as a principal, curriculum program administrator, and/or superintendent must meet the same admission requirements as applicants for a master’s degree.
