How many students will be in each Ed.D. cohort?<\/h4><p>The ideal cohort consists of 30 to 36 students distributed among three focus areas.<\/p><h4>3. Will SAU System Faculty\/Staff Tuition Waivers be accepted for this program?<\/h4><p>Tuition waivers\u00a0will not\u00a0be accepted for SAU System employees, their spouse, or their dependent children.<\/p><h4>4. How many hours may be transferred in?<\/h4><p>Up to nine (9) credit hours may be transferred in, with approval. These courses must not have been counted toward another degree and must be earned post-master\u2019s degree.<\/p><h4>5. What is the cost?<\/h4><p>The program costs $450 per credit hour as of Fall 2025, including fees. SAU is among one of the most affordable universities in the nation. The approximate cost to complete the Ed.D. at SAU is $27,000.
