Joey Kaar serves as Instructor of Theatre\/Production Manager for the Southern Arkansas University Theatre Department. Joey is a performer by trade with a passion for Scenic Design. He has his BFA in Musical Theatre and MAT from SAU. Upon graduation, Joey received the Outstanding Graduate for the Department of Performing Arts and Mass Communications.<\/p>\n
Joey has taught theatrically in Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Maryland. He is also an award-winning director, a NATS Finalist, and three-time KCACTF award nominee for acting and design.<\/p>\n
