Ed in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. Jamie then served as a faculty member and Department Chair for Perdue Global (formerly Kaplan University) before joining Southern Arkansas University in July 2010.\u00a0 From July, 2010 to July, 2024, Mrs. Boyd served at the Director of Admissions, Field Experience and Licensure for the College of Education and Human Performance.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Boyd\u2019s professional affiliations include the Association of Leadership Educators (ALE), National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC), Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG), Arkansas Council of Social Studies Teachers, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), and United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA).<\/p>\n<p>The Instructional Facilitator\/Lead Teacher program equips classroom teacher educators to become leaders in their schools.\u00a0 Mrs. Boyd appreciates the support our district partners provide by encouraging teachers to pursue this pathway, which enables them to mentor new educators and advance their careers.\u00a0 She is excited to help equip classroom teachers as they become leaders in their schools.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie and her husband Michael reside in Magnolia and have three children and three grandchildren.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Educational Background B.S.E., Southern Arkansas University M.S., Walden University Mrs. Jamie Boyd serves as the Program Coordinator for the Instructional Facilitator\/Lead Teacher graduate program. \u00a0Jamie received her B.S.E. from Southern Arkansas University and worked for nine years as a middle and secondary school teacher.\u00a0 During that time, she earned a M.S.
