Trent Wells is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Education at Southern Arkansas University. Originally from Jasper, Alabama, Dr. Wells earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Education degree at Iowa State University in August 2019. Dr. Wells earned a Master of Science in Agricultural Education degree from Iowa State University (2014) and a Bachelor of Science in Agriscience Education degree from Auburn University (2012). Prior to joining the faculty at SAU, he was a school-based agricultural education (SBAE) teacher in Fayette, Alabama for three years. His teaching foci revolve around agricultural teacher preparation and agricultural mechanics education. His research foci are situated around teaching and learning in agricultural education laboratory settings and simulator technology applications in agricultural education. Dr. Wells and his family are excited to join the Mulerider family.
