Dr. Avery Rose
Dr. Avery Rose received his B.S. in chemical engineering from Oregon State University (Corvallis, OR) in 2005. Subsequently, he received a J.D. from the University Of Texas School Of Law (Austin, TX) and worked as a patent attorney from 2008 to 2009. He returned to graduate school to pursue a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University (College Station, TX) and graduated in 2016. His graduate work improved a model for asphalt selection (for use in location-specific road construction), which predicts service life based on chemical reaction, and energy and mass transport principles. Upon graduation, he joined Albemarle’s Research and Technology group at the Magnolia, Arkansas site. At Albemarle, he is upgrading the plant’s chemical‑process technology. He is the first author of four referred publications, and holds a Texas law license (inactive) and a registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
