Jennifer Kelton-Huff is an Assistant Professor of Public Health and academic advisor for the Public Health degree program at SAU. She has worked in higher education for over 18 years. She earned her B.S. in Community and Public Health (1997), her M.A. in Sociology (2006), and is soon to earn her Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance, all from Middle Tennessee State University. Her passion for the public health field began over 22 years ago when she worked in a busy emergency room in Nashville, TN. Ms. Kelton-Huff has an interest in working with future health professionals that want to work in underserved communities to resolve health disparities and improve community health. She teaches Nutrition and Diet, Medical Terminology, Foundations of Public Health, as well as Social and Behavioral Health.
