This position supports campus event programming through planning, preparation, setup, promotion, and the posting and removal of flyers, as well as maintaining the community bulletin board to ensure information is current and presentable. The Graduate Assistant also oversees operations of the Mulerider Lounge by developing and managing student worker schedules, assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training employees, reviewing and approving timesheets, and supervising daily lounge activities to ensure assigned duties are completed. In addition, the position coordinates and hosts at least one lounge-sponsored event per semester to promote student engagement.
