Shortcodes

To assist content editors in creating polished, professional web content, a plugin called Shortcodes Ultimate has been installed across all sites on the network. Shortcode Utimate provides a graphical interface for users to generate more sophisticate page elements, such as tabs, buttons, sliders, expanding content, notice boxes, and so on.

Guidelines

1. Only approved colors and fonts may used within shortcodes. Tertiary colors may only be used for background fill, not for text or other elements.
2. Do not use shadows or gradients.
3. The only predefined styles that are approved for use are the following:
   • Default
   • Simple
   • Fancy
   • Flat: Dark
   • Flat: Light
4. Shortcodes should be used only to enhance key interactions and improve organization of relevant content. Superfluous sliders that are not connected to content, irrelevant animations and media, or other unnecessary functionality will be removed.
